Richard Kevin Harrison (who is popularly known as The Pawn Stars) is an American TV personality, Navy veteran, and producer who was born on March 22nd, 1965 in Lexington, North Carolina, United States. He was born and raised in Lexington, NC.
Richard served in the US Navy and had a stint as a real estate agent before he moved his family to Las Vegas and went all into television. He co-owned a Gold & Silver Pawn Shop in Las Vegas, Nevada along with his dad, Richard Harrison until his dad’s death in 2018. He and his family ran a highly-trafficked pawn shop on the Las Vegas Strip and the show has also launched multiple spin-offs including American Restoration, Cajun Pawn Stars, Phonography, and Counting Cars. The show was even remade in the UK and Australia.
As a producer and actor, Richard is best remembered for Pawn Stars (2009), Blood Sweat and Heels (2014), and The Middle (2009).
