Rick Ross (born William Leonard Roberts II), is a rapper and entrepreneur, who founded the record label, Maybach Music Group which has housed artists Meek Mill, Wale, French Montana, Omarion, Teedra Moses, and Triple C’s. Through the label, he released multiple chart-topping albums - Port of Miami (2006), Deeper than Rap (2009), Teflon Don (2010), God Forgives, I Don’t (2012), Mastermind, Hood Billionaire (2014), and Black Market (2015). Ross has collaborated with Jay Z, R. Kelly, Flo-Rida, Lil’ Wayne, Young Jeezy, among many others. Black Market, his most current album, was released in 2015 under Def Jam, and in 2016, signed a solo deal with L.A. Reid’s Epic Records. Most recently, Ross released a remix of Kanye West’s song, ‘Famous.’
