Robert Lewandowski is a Polish professional soccer player who plays as a striker in Europe’s top soccer leagues. He was born in Warsaw, Poland, on August 21, 1988. Robert spent his formative years playing for the youth setups at Partyzant Leszno and MKS Varsovia Warsaw, and he turned professional in 2005 when he signed with Delta Warsaw. He has since represented Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, Barcelona, Lech Poznań, and Znicz Pruszków, and throughout his time at Bayern, Robert played alongside David Alaba, Serge Gnavry, Thomas Muller, and Manuel Neuer. He has been an integral member of Poland’s international soccer team since making his debut in 2008. Robert’s career highlights include winning the Bundesliga, UEFA Champions League, DFB-Pokal, UEFA Super Cup, and FIFA Club World Cup.
