Romelu Lukaku, whose full birth name is Romelu Menama Lukaku Bolingoli, is a Belgian professional football player who plays as a striker and who was born on May 13, 1993, in Antwerp. He completed his youth career at Anderlecht and was promoted to their first team in 2009. He played there until 2011 when he was sold to the Premier League club Chelsea. He was loaned to West Bromwich Albion after having only played 10 matches. He was then loaned again in 2013, this time to Everton. The club bought the player in 2014 and here his career really took off having played 110 games and scored 53 goals.
In 2017 was transferred to Manchester United, which later sold the player to Inter Milan in 2019 where he won Serie A and was named as Serie A most valuable player. Romelu returned to England in 2021 to play for his old team Chelsea. He also has an excellent international career playing for Belgium senior national team since 2010. He is Belgium’s all time top goalscorer with 68 goals in 101 games and was awarded with the Bronze Boot at 2018 FIFA World Cup.
