Sally Kirkland Bio
Sally Kirkland is a theater, film, and television actress from the United States. For her role in Anna, she was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Actress (1987).
She garnered prizes from the Los Angeles Film Critics Association, and the Independent Spirit Awards for her role, as well as the Golden Globe for Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture – Drama.
For The Haunted, she received a second Golden Globe nomination for Best Performance by an Actress in a Miniseries or Motion Picture Made for Television (1991). Kirkland is also noted for her parts in Cold Feet (1989), Best of the Best (1989), JFK (1991), and Bruce Almighty (1991).
