Scar Symmetry Bio
Scar Symmetry is a band from Avesta, Sweden. The band was formed in 2004 and its members include lead guitarist/keyboardist Per Nilsson, harsh vocalist Roberth Karlsson, clean vocalist Lars Palmqvist, rhythm guitarist Stephen Platt, and drummer Lawrence Dinamarca. They released their debut studio album “Symmetric in Design” in 2005. They later went on tour where they played in festivals across Europe. In 2006, they signed a recording contract with Nuclear Blast and dropped a second studio album “Pitch Black Progress”.
In September 2007, the band went on a North American tour with the support of other bands. They also headlined some events on the tour. In June 2008, they dropped their third studio album “Holographic Universe”. They later went on tour to promote the album. The band's fourth album, titled “Dark Matter Dimensions” arrived in October 2009 in Europe and the United States. Other albums released by the band include “The Unseen Empire”, and “The Singularity”.
