Scott Haze was born in Dallas, Texas. He is an accomplished writer, playwright, actor and director. Haze’s talent is a direct result of being an alumnus Stella Adler Conservatory and Playhouse West. Haze’s passion for acting was manifested when he founded the North Hollywood Sherry Theater. He wrote, directed and acted in several plays and eventually appeared as a guest role for CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.
In 2011, Haze began to garner more attention after his critically acclaimed performance in the movie Post. He also received positive reviews for his play Angel Asylum of which he wrote, directed and starred in at the Sherry Theater. Since 2011, Haze has also collaborated with superstar James Franco on several projects.
One of these collaborations proved to be Haze’s big break in Hollywood after his hugely praised portrayal of Lester Ballard in the 2013 film Child of God. As a direct result of his performance Haze was voted into Variety’s 10 Actors To Watch For in 2013.
