Scott Porter Bio

Matthew Scott Porter is an American actor and singer, who was born on July 14th, 1979 in Omaha, Nebraska, United States. He is best known for his role as Jason Street in the NBC television drama “Friday Night Lights.” In the first episode, his character was hurt while playing football, and as a result, he ended up being disabled. David Edwards, who played football in high school, served as an inspiration for this character. In the production of Altar Boyz that took place off-Broadway, he played the role of Matthew. In addition, he had a role on the show Hart of Dixie. Also, he was on the list of the 100 Sexiest Men of 2010, and came in at number tenth. Moreover, he co-starred with Emile Hirsch and played the part of Rex in the movie Speed Racer (2008).
