Scroobius Pip Bio
Scroobius Pip is a hip hop recording artist from Stanford Lee-Hope, Essex, England. His real name is David Mead. He got his start as a spoken word artist and as a poet. His single made with Dan Le sac as Dan Le Sac Vs Scroobius Pip called ‘Thou Shalt Always Kill’ hit the top 40 in 2010. The single ‘Stake a Claim’ which was also a collaboration became the theme song for student protests in 2010. Scroobius pip started his own label Speech Development Records and post the weekly radio show The Beatdown on XFM and he also has a podcast in his weekly Distraction Pieces podcast. In 2011 he released a solo album call Distraction Pieces which made the charts in the UK.
