Seafret Bio
Coming from Bridlington, United Kingdom, Seafret was found in 2011 comprising of the duo Jack Sedman and Harry Draper. They met on a chance encounter in an open mike night which led to the forming of Seafret. As guitarist Harry Draper and vocalist Jack Sedman became impressed with each other’s performances, they went on to make music together. The band name “seafret” came from words “sea” to pertain to the North Sea and “fret” which is a pun in a guitar.
In September 2014, Seafret released their debut EP “Give Me Something” under the Sweet Jane Recordings label. Their second EP was released in 2015 entitled “Oceans.” They then spent the year touring and playing for some local shops. Then, their debut album “Tell Me It’s Real” was released in 2016 under Columbia Records.
