Shakespears Sister is a newly reunited musical duo composed of Siobhan Fahey and Marcella Detroit. The duo first became known in the 90s with tracks like “Stay”, which became the longest serving number one track ever released by a UK girl band, even to this day. That means it held its spot for a long time! By 1993, however, the duo split. This happened in spite of the success they had found with tunes likes “The Trouble With Andre” and “Hello (Turn Your Radio On)”, which they performed when they were the headliners in Glastonbury Music Festival, and which won the Brit Award for the best video. Now back together, Shakespears Sister are back with a greatest hits album, and two new songs: “All The Queen’s Horses” and “C U Next Tuesday”, which they will be performing during their reunion tour this year.
