Shaun Escoffery is an English soul and R&B singer and actor born in London, England. In 2001 he released his debut single titled “Space Rider” with Oyster Music. The song charted at number 52 on the UK Singles Chart. In 2002 he released his debut studio album self-titled Shaun Escoffery. He has since released the albums Soulonica, Move into Soul, In the Red Room, and Evergreen. He was noticed by Lennox Lewis and invited to Memphis, Tennessee to sing the national them before Mike Tyson’s boxing match. Escoffery has had roles in the stage productions Parade, The Lion King, Les Misérables, Smokey Joe’s Cafe, Tommy, and Mama I Want to Sing. In 2007 he received a nomination for a Laurence Olivier Award for his role in the stage musical Parade.
