Silk Boss Bio
Rohan Reid, known by his stage name Silk Boss, was born on 11th December 2001 in Jamaica. He is a musical artist known for his controversial, yet extremely inspirational songs. During his school years, he developed a passion for rapping and worked consistently to build his skills as a performer and writer. He also credits his years in the church choir for helping him develop his musical skills. In 2021, he released his first track, ‘Mankind’ on social media and various streaming platforms. The song which is co-produced by Silverbirds Records and Terro ChopCity is an autobiographical dancehall number which went viral on all platforms, propelling him into the limelight. It earned more than 2.1 million views on YouTube. This was followed up by the song, ‘LifeStory’ which describes all the hardships that he faced growing up in St.James, Jamaica. Other songs that he is known for are ‘Stay to Myself’ and ‘Nah Leave’.
