Skylar Astin Bio
Skylar Astin Epstein is an American singer and actor. Skylar became popular for portraying the character, Jesse Swanson, in the music-related film, Pitch Perfect and Pitch Perfect 2. Aston started his acting journey with a minor role in the off-Broadway and Broadway originals ‘Spring Awakening’. While acting in this play, he got his first role in a film as Rand Posin in Hamlet 2. Aston also recorded a song with Spring Awakening star Steve Coogan titled Raped in the Face under Broadway. It was later in 2012 that Pitch Perfect happened and Aston’s work got the much-awaited recognition. Aston also did the voice of Roy in Wreck-it Ralph in the same year. Skylar Aston was awarded the BTVA Feature Film Voice Acting Award for Best Vocal Ensemble in a Feature Film for playing the character of Roy. In 2020 the actor has been spotted in two films, Secret Society of Second-Born Royals and Ghosts of War.
