Slopes is a Norwegian singer and composer, born Dag Holtan-Hartwig on April 16, 1991, in Oslo, Norway. He grew up in a musical family and started singing and playing instruments from a very young age. He studied at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts, where he learned from Sir Paul McCartney, among other, and where he met his collaborator Halvor Folstad. Together, they started writing and producing hits for artists such as Ava Max, Alan Walker, Jonas Blue, Seeb, and Julie Bergan.
The Oslo native decided to launch a solo career in 2021 under the name Slopes. He signed a deal with Warner Music and released his hit debut single, Prove Them Wrong.
More singles followed up like Down with The River and Famous. His song Days Like These was Single of the Week on NPS Music.
