Tropa Magica Bio
Tropa Magica is an American musical group that was formed in Los Angeles, California, United States. The founding members of the band include David Pacheco (guitar, vocals, piano), Rene Pacheco (drums, vocals, piano), Jason Juarez (bass, vocals) and Branden Santons (guitar).
Tropa Magica rose to fame supporting established acts like Bomba Estereo, Molotov and the popular comedian Felipe Esparza. They have also been seen on big LA stages such as at The Microsoft Theater, El Rey Theater and The Hollywood Palladium. They performed at So-Cal festival favorites Desert Daze and Tropicalia. Their 7inch vinyl EP Smells Like Cumbia was released in 2019 in a limited edition. Some of their known full length albums include the self-titled Tropa Magica (2018) and Tripiando al Infinito en Mi Recamara (2020).
