Son Lux, born Ryan Lott, is an indie musician from New York, who has been active since 2008. He released his studio debut, At War With Walls and Mazes, on Anticon in 2008 to generally positive reviews. The album earned him “Best New Artist” on NPR’s radio program All Songs Considered. He released his third album, Lanterns, in 2013. His most successful thusfar, the album featured the single “Easy,” which was remixed by pop star Lorde the following year. The same year, he teamed up with underground rapper Senegeti and indie folk darling Sufjan Stevens to form the experimental group, Sisyphus, whose self-titled full-length debut was released in 2014. He works often on film soundtracks, and his work is included in films such as Looper, Paper Towns, and The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby. Son Lux most recently released the EP, Stranger Forms, in 2016 on Joyful Noise.
