Sons of Serendip Bio

Sons of Serendip is a musical group from the United States. The band, which consists of lead vocalist Micah Christian, harpist Mason Morton, pianist Cordaro Rodriguez, and cellist Kendall Ramseur, gained fame and popularity when they appeared on the ninth season of America’s Got Talent in 2014. The band members met at Boston University while studying their various degrees.

After completing their studies in 2013, the quartet formed the band a year later specifically to compete in the America’s Got Talent reality competition where they finished in fourth place. Sons of Serendip released their first self-titled album in January 2015, which was listed in numerous categories on Billboard Charts. Tracks from this album have been used in several episodes of America's Got Talent, The Four and The X Factor UK. The band released their second album, titled “Christmas: Beyond the Lights,” in October 2015.
