Sophie Hannah Bio
Sophie Hannah (born 1971) is a poet and novelist from the United Kingdom.
Sophie Hannah Geras was born in Manchester, England, to Norman Geras, an academic, and Adèle Geras, a novelist. She went to Didsbury's Beaver Road Primary School and the University of Manchester.
She was a junior research fellow at Wolfson College, Oxford, from 1999 to 2001, and a Fellow Commoner in Creative Arts at Trinity College, Cambridge, from 1997 to 1999. She lives in Cambridge with her husband and two children.
