Stephanie Gilmore Bio
Stephanie Louise Gilmore is an Australian professional surfer who has won multiple World Surf League tours, making her one of the most dominant surfers in WSL history. She was born in Murwillumbah, New South Wales, Australia, on January 29, 1988. Stephanie began surfing at the age of nine, and she began her professional surfing career at seventeen. Stephanie won her first WSL World Tour in 2007, and she went on to win the Tour in 2008, 2009, 2010, 2012, 2014, and 2018. Throughout her surfing career, she has competed against Sally Fitzgibbons, Carissa Moore, Ellyse Perry, Lakey Peterson, Sofia Mulanovich, and Silvana Lima.
