Sub-Urban Bio

Sub-Urban Situation is an alternative and R&B band from Louisville, Kentucky. The band started as an acoustic trio with vocalist Wes Neidiffer, lead guitarist Patrick Wolfe and rhythm guitarist Greg Tripure. Bassist Vinnie Flick joined the band later, as well as drummer Joseph Poff.

They released their debut album Parallax in 2006, followed by The City EP in 2008, and Lost Melodies, which was released on June 1, 2011. The band has performed with artists like Devon Allman and Honey Tribe, Sister Hazel, Perpetual Groove, The Phunk Junkeez, Paradime, Ana Popovic, The VilleBillies, Nappy Roots, Spike Davis (Comedian), and many others. Sub-Urban Situation has been voted into Louisville’s Virtual Hall of Fame alongside My Morning Jacket, John Butler Trio, and other artists.
