Sutton Foster Bio

Sutton Foster was born on March 18, 1975 in America. Most popularly known for her portrayal of beloved musical characters, the singer, actress, and dancer made her debut on the Broadway stage in her early teens. Her role in the 2002 musical Thoroughly Modern Millie as Millie and in the 2011 musical Anything Goes as Reno, got her two Tony Awards for best performance by a leading actress. 

Other musicals Sutton has performed in, includes The Drowsy, Little Women, Shrek the Musical, Violet, and Chaperone. In 2012, she made an on-screen appearance in the ABC TV series named Bunnheads; the show got cancelled after two years. For her outstanding contribution to television, music, and theater, Sutton received an honorary doctorate from Ball State University in 2012.
