Swervedriver Bio

Swervedriver is a rock band from Oxford, England. The was formed in 1989 and its current members include vocalist/lead guitarist Adam Franklin, lead guitarist Jimmy Hartridge, drummer/percussionist Mikey Jones, and bassist Mick Quinn. The band released music in the genres of indie rock, dream pop, and alternative pop. They started by releasing a number of four-track EPs over a couple of years. They released their debut EP “Son of Mustang Ford” in July 1990. The following year, they released their first album “Raise”.

Their sophomore album “Mezcal Head” was released in 1993. Two years later, they dropped their third studio album “Ejector Seat Reservation”. The album contained three hidden tracks, which were only available to the UK audience. In 1998, they released their fourth album “99th Dream”. They went on to release two more albums: “I Wasn’t Born to Lose You” and “Future Ruins”.
