Tara Westover Bio
Tara Westover is a memoirist, essayist, and historian, who was born on September 27, 1986 in Clifton, Idaho, located in the United States. Her autobiography, “Educated”, made its debut at number one on the bestseller list of The New York Times. It was also a finalist for a number of national awards, such as the LA Times Book Prize, PEN America's Jean Stein Book Award, and two awards from the National Book Critics Circle Award. Moreover, “Educated” was selected by the New York Times as one of the 10 best books published in 2018, and Time magazine has selected Westover as one of the 100 people who will have the most impact on the world in 2019.
