Taska Black Bio

Taska Black is an electronic music project born and based in Antwerp, Belgium. The project is led by Joachim Gorrebeeck,who is a songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist who quickly positioned himself as one of the most promising electronic new artists in the European scene. Tasha Black got attention from the label San Holo in 2016 and they featured Taska’s single “Leave Me” on the label’s debut compilation titled “Gouldian Finch”. The album got millions of streams and Taska Black became a household name in the industry. His sound mixes warm melodies, cinematic sounds, romantic synths, as well as anthemic vocals, which created an easily recognizable trademark. He released a string of successful hits among which “Dreaming” alongside singer Nevve, “Running Away” and “Sandpaper”. At the end of 2018, Taska Black released his debut EP titled “Minds”. In 2019, he released a love ballad titled “Backwards Love” which got more than a million streams on Spotify.
