Taylor Hall is a professional ice hockey player who was born on November 14th, 1991, in Calgary, Canada. His father was a former player in the Canadian Football League, and taught Taylor how to play hockey in their backyard rink. He has played in both the OHL and the CHL, and was named rookie of the year in both leagues. Additionally, he skated for Canada's Under-18 and Under-20 teams. Hall was a left winger in the National Hockey League (NHL) and was selected by the Edmonton Oilers in the 2010 NHL draft. After six seasons with the Oilers, he moved on to play for the New Jersey Devils in the National Hockey League. Then he made yet another move, and signed with the Boston Bruins. Moreover, to his credit, he holds the record of having the Oilers select him in the first three rounds on three separate occasions.
