The Ataris Bio

The Ataris are an American indie rock band from Anderson, Indiana. They were formed in 1996 and the band originally consisted of Kristopher Roe, who was the singer, songwriter, guitarist, and Jasin Thomason, who also played the guitar. Over the years the band had many reconfigurations and the only member of the band who took part in all was Kristopher Roe. They released their first album in 1997 titled “Anywhere but Here”. Two years later they released their second album called “Blue Skies, Broken Hearts... Next 12 Exits”. After the release, the band toured alongside MxPx, Blink-182, and Homegrown releasing their third album “So Long, Astoria” in 2001. In 2012 they released a four-track EP which included the song “The Graveyard of the Atlantic”. In 2016, they released another EP titled “October in This Railroad Earth''.
