The Dead South Bio
Canadian four-piece folk band The Dead South have been around since 2012. Based in Regina, Saskatchewan, the group represented Saskatchewan in the CBC Searchlight contest to find Canada’s best new artist, something which garnered them attention and airplay on radio stations throughout the nation. In 2014, they were scouted by DevilDuck Records while playing at Toronto’s Canadian Music Week, leading to the release of their album in Europe and several international tours. The Dead South has released two albums: Good Company (2014) and Illusion & Doubt (2016), both on DevilDuck Records.
