The HU Bio
The Hu is a Mongolian metal band formed in 2016 by members, Enkhsaikhan Batjargal, Nyamjantsan Galsanjamts, Temuulen Naranbaatar and Galbadrakh Tsendbaatar.
They sing in their native tongue and use a form of throat singing as well. Throat singing is a skill learned over many years - this has gained the group over 45 million views on YouTube. The band uses musical instruments on stage including electric guitars, the morin khuur, and the tuvshuu.
Their debut album, The Gereg, earned them the number one spot on the Top New Artist chart as well as No. 2 on the UK’s Rock & Metal Album chart. The album features collaborations with global artists Jacoby Shaddix, Danny Case, and Lzzy Hale. The band is signed by Eleven Seven Music, the same label that signed Five Finger Death Punch and Mötley Crüe.
