The Lacs Bio
The Lacs (Loud Ass Crackers) is a country rap duo established in 2002 and consists of lead vocalist and guitarist Brian ‘Rooster’ King and hip-hop artist Clay ‘Uncle Snap’ Sharpe. The duo hails from Georgia and delivers music which is an unexpectedly addicting combination of southern rock and rap. The Lacs has released more than ten albums including those that graced the Billboard Top Country Charts. Their most notable work includes Country Boy’s Paradise (2011), Keep it Redneck (2013), Outlaw in Me (2015), and American Rebelution (2017). Their famous single “Kickin’ Up Mud” went Gold and six of their singles reached the Billboard 200. After forming their own record label Dirt Rock Empire in 2017, The Lacs has released all their future music through it.
