Third Eye Blind was a pop-rock band formed in 1993 in San Francisco, California, led by singer Stephan Jenkins. The band gained a following by opening for Oasis in the late ‘90s California while Jenkins did production work for other artists. A self-titled debut went out in 1997, made it into Billboard’s 200, and also had the single “Semi-Charmed Life” Top U.S. charts. After the release of Blue in 1999 the group toured the world, and in 2003 they released “Out of the Vein”. An EP under the name “Red Star” followed before 2009’s “Ursa Major”, released with their newly founded label Mega Collider Records. The band has taken part in humanitarian efforts like breast cancer awareness. By the time the Billy Corgan-produced 2019 album Screamer went out, the band had undergone some changes in the lineup, with Jenkins remaining along with guitarist Kryz Reid, bassist Alex LeCavalier, and drummer Brad Hargreaves.
