Tiger Army Bio

Tiger Army is an American psychobilly rock band. It was formed in 1996 in Berkeley, California, U.S. The only constant member of the group has been lead singer and guitarist Kearney Nick Jones also known as Nick 13. Former band members include Geoff Kresge, Joel Day, and Adam Carson, among others. Their first release was a vinyl record EP titled “Temptation EP”. The EP caught the eye of Tim Armstrong, co-owner of Hellcat Records, who signed them under his label. In 1999 Tiger Army released their first self-titled studio album and the band went on a California tour to promote the album. Their second album “Tiger Army II: Power of Moonlite” was released in 2001, and the band toured around Europe and Japan to promote it along bands like TSOL, The Damned and Dropkick Murphys. In 2004 they released their third album titled “Tiger Army III: Ghost Tigers Rise” which peaked at number 146 in U.S. Top 200 Billboard Chart. They released 3 more albums from 2007 to 2019, “Music from Regions Beyond”, “V” and “Retrofuture”.
