James Timothy Daly, better known as Tim Daly, is an American actor best known for his work in film and television. He was born in New York City, New York, United States, on March 1, 1956.
Tim began his acting career as a child actor in 1966 when he appeared in the TV series NET Playhouse. He has since had recurring roles in the TV series The Game, Madam Secretary, The Nine, Eyes, The Fugitive, Wings, Almost Grown, and Private Practice, which features Kate Walsh, Paul Adelstein, Benjamin Bratt, and Taye Diggs. Tim’s filmography includes The Object of My Affection, The Associate, Against the Ropes, Dr. Jekyll and Ms. Hyde, Year of the Comet, and Denise Calls Up.
Tim received a Primetime Emmy nomination for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Drama Series and a Screen Actors Guild nomination for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Drama Series.
