Tom Allen Bio
Tom Allen is a comedian and actor born on 14th June 1983 in Greater London, England. He started his career in 2005 after participating in the annual standup comedy competition “So You Think You’re Funny?” He received the UK newcomer award for his outstanding performance in the competition. He also won the BBC New Comedy Award that same year. Allen made her television debut with BBC’s comedy-drama series “Sensitive Skin.”
In 2008, he created his own documentary, “Who Is Tom Allen?” which was aired on E4. In 2015 and 2016, he starred as a Dictionary Corner guest on the comedy panel show “8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown”. In 2018, he appeared on the comedy game show “Ready of Not” that was aired on BBC One. The following year, he replaced Rhod Gilbert as the host of “The Apprentice: You’re Fired!” Allen has also been co-hosting the podcast “Like Minded Friends” alongside Suzi Ruffell.
