In 2007 they toured across the U.K. alongside The Shins, for whom they opened. They released their self titled first album in 2008 which included the hit singles “Mansard Roof”, “A-Punk” and the highly acclaimed “Cape Cod Kwassa Kwassa”, which had over 9 million streams on YouTube. The last song made it as number 67 in the Rolling Stone’s magazine 100 Best Songs of the Year. The second album of the band titled “Contra” was released in 2010 and it made it to number one on the Billboard 200. The band has played in major festivals like Coachella, Glastobury and Bonnaroo, among many others.
