Wendi McLendon-Covey is an American producer, actress, and comedian born October 10, 1969, in Bellflower, California. She is mostly known as a comedian. Her career started in 2003, with an improv show called Reno 911! on Comedy Central where she played the role of Deputy Clementine Johnson. She's also known for her role in the CBS sitcom Rules of Engagement (2010-2013), where she starred as Liz, the neighbor. Her cinematic breakthrough came with the comedy Bridesmaids (2011), after which she appeared in a number of movies such as What to Expect When You're Expecting (2012) where she plays alongside Hollywood stars such as Cameron Diaz, Jennifer Lopez, and Elizabeth Banks, The Single Moms Club (2014), and Think Like a Man Too (2014). McLendon-Covey was nominated for Critics' Choice Television Awards for Best Actress in a Comedy Series twice for her role in the ABC comedy series The Goldbergs, where she played the role of Beverly Goldberg.
