Within The Ruins Bio
Within The Ruins is an American metal band formed in Westfield, Massachusetts in 2003 by highschool friends Kevin McGuill (drums) and Joe Cocch (guitar). After numerous lineup changes, by 2017 they were also joined by Andrew Tate (bass) and Tim Goergen (vocals). After going out on self-managed tours and signing with Victory Records they issued their debut LP “Creature” in 2009. A second effort titled “Invade” went out the following year. The band then signed to eOne records and made it into the main albums chart in 2013 with their third album “Elite”. In 2014 the group released yet another LP called “Phenomena”. A fifth album titled “Halfway Human” went out in 2017 with the collaboration of bassist Paolo Galang.
