Yard Act Bio
The Yard Act is a band from the United Kingdom that is well-known for playing rock music. The band's members are Jay Russell on drums, Sam Shjipstone on bass, James Smith on vocals, and Ryan Needham on guitar. Their first studio album, which was a post-punk effort and was titled “The Overload,” generated a lot of buzz among music fans when it was released. Over 11,000 copies of the album were sold, breaking records as the album with the quickest sales debut on vinyl in the UK. Following the success of their first single, the band released a few more songs that were met with the same level of enthusiasm. Moreover, the year 2020 witnessed the release of the band's debut single, titled "The trapper's pelt."
