Yasmani Grandal is a Cuban-American professional baseballer who plays as a catcher in Major League Baseball. He was born in Havana, Cuba, on November 8, 1988. Yasmani spent his formative years playing for Miami Springs High School and the University of Miami, and he turned professional in 2012 when he made his MLB debut with the San Diego Padres. He has since represented the Los Angeles Dodgers, Milwaukee Brewers, and Chicago White Sox, and throughout his time with the Chicago White Sox, Yasmani played alongside Joe Kelly, Tim Anderson, Josh Harrison, Kendall Graveman, and Luis Robert. Yasmani has played in multiple MLB All-Star games.
