Yu Darvish Bio
Farid Yu Darvishsefat, better known as Yu Darvish, is a Japanese professional baseballer who plays as a pitcher in Major League Baseball. He was born in Habikino, Osaka, Japan, on August 16, 1986. Yu was initially interested in soccer and motocross, but in the second grade, he began participating in baseball competitions. He represented Tohoku High School, and he turned professional in 2005 when he joined the Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters of Nippon Professional Baseball. He went on to play in Japan till 2012 when he joined Major League Baseball through the Texas Rangers. He has gone on to play for the Los Angeles Dodgers, Chicago Cubs, and San Diego Padres, and throughout his time with the San Diego Padres, he played alongside Fernando Tatis Jr., Manny Machado, Luke Voit, and Robert Suarez.
