Zoya Akhtar Bio
Zoya Akhtar is an Indian director, who was born on October 14th, 1972, in Mumbai. She earned her degree from Bombay’s St. Xavier’s College before realising she was interested in filmmaking. She registered for a film studies course in New York. Zoya is well known for her work as a cinematographer and screenwriter. Her 2009 debut feature, “Lucky By Chance,” became a popular and commercial triumph. The most well-known of Zoya’s originals is the award-winning Bollywood film “Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara.” She contributed to the script of the movie “Talaash.” Additionally, she also directs film songs; “Sheila Ki Jawaani” is a well-known example. Moreover, her 2015 film “Dil Dhadakne Do,” which starred Priyanka Chopra made an impact in Bollywood through the tale of a Punjabi family.
