Robert Avellanet Bio
Robert Avellanet is an actor and singer born on 30th June 1975 in San Juan, Puerto Rico. He is part of the Puerto Rican boy band, Menudo. His uncle is the renowned singer Chucho Avellanet. He rose to fame as a teenager after joining Menudo in 1988. At that time, the band was known as Menudo’s Rock era. His first project with the band was “Sombra & Figuras”. They later released “Los Ultimos Heroes”.
In 1994, he went to college where he studied Advertising. The following year, he was signed by Ralph Mercado to record a salsa album through the RMM label. He released his first solo album, titled “Sentir” in 1999. The album was very successful in Latin American countries as well as Puerto Rico and New York. His second album “Jet Privado” was released in 2009, and his third album “Heart and Soul” in 2017.
