Amorphous, whose real birth name is Jimir Reece Davis, is an American DJ and music producer who was born on January 1, 1998, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He began his career as a teenager creating creative mash-ups of different artists' hits. He started to gain popularity around 2016 when his mash-up of Rihanna song “Work” and Aaliyah’s song “Rock the Boat” became viral on social media.
In 2020 he increased his popularity when he released the mash-up of Luther Vandross song “Never Too Much” with Rihanna’s song “Kiss It Better”. The song caught the attention of Fat Joe and DJ Khaled and decided to release an official version of the song, which was called “Sunshine (The Light)”. He soon moved on from his mash ups and started creating music on his own. His first work as a solo artist was the EP titled Things Take Shape, released in 2021.
