Bedouin Soundclash Bio

Bedouin Soundclash is a Canadian music trio that was formed in 2000. Their music is a fusion between Reggae, Ska, and Rock. Members Jay Malinowski, singer and guitarist, Eon Sinclair, bassist, and Pat Pengelly, drummer, met at college in Ontario. They released their debut album in 2001 which was called Root Fire. They then dedicated themselves to touring around Canada to create a solid audience. They came back to the studio in 2004 and released their second album “Sounding a Mosaic” which ranked N°9 at Billboard’s Reggae Chart. In 2006 they were awarded the Juno Award for New Group of the year. They released their third album “Street Gospels” in 2007 and it reached N° 2 in the Canadian Album Chart. They then toured around the US and shared acts with big bands and artists such as Coldplay, Alicia Keys, and Paramore. The drummer left the band in 2009 and they entered a hiatus until 2016 when they released a series of singles including “Drive” and “Clock Work”.
