Deadland Ritual Bio
Deadland Ritual is an American heavy metal supergroup formed in 2018 in Los Angeles, California. Its line-up comprises vocalist Franky Perez from Apocalyptica, guitarist Steve Stevens (who has worked with Billy Idol and Michael Jackson), bassist and Black Sabbath founder Geezer Butler, and drummer Matt Sorum. After gaining traction with teaser posts in the band member’s social media profiles, the band released its music video “Down In Flames” via Youtube in 2018, through Sonik Riot Records and AWAL. The song was produced by Greg Fidelman. The following year the band played at Download Festival and Hellfest in the UK and France. Shortly after, the band made its official live debut at The Troubadour in Los Angeles. In May 2019 the band also released another single titled “Broken and Bruised”.
