Gunna Bio
Sergio Giavanni Kitchens, also known as “Gunna”, was born on June 14, 1993. Gunna is a rapper and songwriter from College Park, Georgia. As a teen, Gunna took up rapping as a hobby, but grew serious about it when friend and mentor, Keith Troup, introduced him to rapper Young Thug. The two rappers developed a friendship and soon, Gunna was rapping on Young Thug’s track, “Floyd Mayweather”, where he rapped along with Gucci Mane and Travis Scott. Once the song garnered enough fame, Gunna was soon signed to Thug’s label, YSL. On October 14, 2016, Gunna released his debut mixtape ‘Drip Season’ that held features from Young Thug, Duke, and Young Trez.
After the success of ‘Drip Season’, Gunna released ‘Drip Season 2’ and ‘Drip Season 3’. His last mixtape featured guest appearances from Lil Yachty, Lil Uzi Vert, Metro Boomin’, and more.
