Born on November 23, 1973, in Racine, Wisconsin, Kristin Bauer van Straten had begun acting ever since 1994. She had studied Fine Arts at Washington University in St. Louis, Boston, and New York, but eventually moved to Los Angeles to peruse her dream of becoming a professional actress. Her first regular role was the one of Maggie Reynolds on The Crew.
