Soen Bio
Soen is a Swedish progressive metal supergroup made up of players from different extreme metal bands. On February 15, 2012, their debut album Cognitive was released.
Soen was first created in 2004, but it wasn't until May 2010 that the group was officially announced. Former Opeth drummer Martin Lopez, ex-Death, Testament, and Sadus bassist Steve Di Giorgio, Willowtree vocalist Joel Ekelöf, and guitarist Kim Platbarzdis made up the original lineup.
In October 2010, the band's first song, "Fraccions," was uploaded on the band's official website. In February 2012, they released their debut video for the song "Savia" on their Facebook page.
The song "Ideate" is used in their second video, which is a melancholy acoustic rendition. The song "Delenda" is the title of the band's third video.
