The Orielles Bio
The Orielles is an English band formed in Halifax, West Yorkshire, England when sisters Sidonie B and Esmé Dee Hand-Halford met Henry Carlyle Wade. After finding out their common love for music from the ‘90s, they started writing music as a trio. In 2014, they began their journey as a band when they released their first song entitled Entity through Scruff of Neck. After that, they released their first EP entitled Hindering Waves, and another single called Yawn. In 2015, the band released two brand new singles, Space Doubt and Joey Says We Got It, and in 2016, they released their second EP entitled Jobin. With all of their projects, they were able to get the attention of the record label Heavenly Records and eventually signed them. In 2018, they released their debut album, Silver Dollar Moment. Currently, the band’s line up has Esmé Dee on lead vocals and bass, Henry on guitar and vocals, Sidonie B on drums, and Alex Stephens on keys.
