Twin Shadow Bio
Twin Shadow is the stage name for electronic and rock musician, songwriter, and actor George Lewis Jr. Lewis was born in the Dominican Republic on March 30, 1983, although he grew up in Florida. He began his artistic career singing in the church choir. In 2006, he moved to Brooklyn, New York and started the Twin Shadow project. His debut album “Forget” was released in 2010. During the following year he went on a tour through the country. Despite that, he found the time to produce and record his second album “Confess”, inspired by events in his life such as a motorcycle accident. He also used brighter sounds and happier melodies than on his debut album. In 2015, he released his third album “Eclipse” and that year he also made a compilation, publishing it as “Night Rally”. Lewis also made a collaboration with HAIM on the single “Saturdays” that same year. In 2019, he released his fourth album “Only for the Broken-Hearted”.
